Rogue Begonia is excited to offer the recordings of our January 2022 online painting workshop with author, teacher, and artist Larry Moore. Drawing from his book, Fishing for Elephants, Larry will help you form an artistic vision and develop a thematic body of work. Focus will be on the components of creativity, the visual language of paint, nontraditional approaches to expression, and how to achieve bold compositions.

Larry has written and taught extensively on different ways to think and how to explore, build, define, and refine your unique artistic voice. This course offers a path to a deeper level of painting, decision-making, exploration, and visual communication. Students of all skill levels and all mediums are welcome. Some experience in painting is helpful. That said, this class isn’t limited to painting. There are many ways for an artist to express an idea.

These four-session plus bonus-session class recordings will give you the basics of building your language and developing an artistic style. This is a stand-alone course and a prerequisite for Level II.
